Job Summary:
We’re looking for skilled and motivated Backend Developers with 1–3 years of experience to join our on-site development team in Chennai. As a backend developer at Webizze, you’ll be responsible for building robust APIs, managing databases, and ensuring seamless integration with frontend applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
Optimize and manage database schemas and queries (SQL and NoSQL).
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Collaborate effectively with front-end developers by understanding front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and monitor applications in production environments.
Follow agile methodologies and participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Technologies:
Node.js, Express.js
TypeScript (TS)
Git & version control (e.g., GitHub, GitLab)
GraphQL and/or RESTful API development and testing
SQL and NoSQL databases
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
CI/CD pipelines
Database design and management
Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle and agile processes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills:
Experience with NestJS
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is a plus
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Salary:
Up to ₹4 LPA (based on interview performance)
